Spring 2022 Issue

Our Spring 2022 issue gathers work around the theme of ownership—of land, language, memory, and the self. Edited by Eula Biss, the folio includes essays by Aminatta Forna, José Vadi, Aisha Sabatini Sloan, Glen Retief, and others, fiction by Nami Mun, and poems by Rae Armantrout, Cynthia Zarin, Tiphanie Yanique, and David Trinidad. The issue also features the debut short story by Cord Jefferson. In a conversation, Garth Greenwell, Richie Hofmann, and Carl Phillips consider the making of a queer canon, and Noreen Khawaja reflects on the “sublime modes” of Sheila Heti.
