Fall 2023 Issue

Our Fall 2023 issue features Maggie Doherty on the contradictions that fueled fifty years of feminist media, Emily Greenwood on Emily Wilson’s bold reimagining of The Iliad, and Becca Rothfeld on the condescension of public intellectuals. Alec Pollak uncovers Lorraine Hansberry’s overlooked work, Sanjena Sathian dissects contemporary novels’ fixation on motherhood, and Anna Hartford reflects on the philosophy of risk and the unpredictability of pregnancy.
